A reminder in case you missed it that I’m moving my music coverage over to Cascadia Daily News. My column will come out on Thursday mornings. You will find picks of the week and major music news there tomorrow. This will be the last edition of the newsletter with the full calendar, starting next week you’ll need to check there for that. If you ever have trouble finding the column you can check this link for everything I’ve published at CDN. You can (and should!) also follow me on Twitter where I will post links to columns, plus any news that comes out in between.

News and Upcoming Events:
Make.Shift’s TV show should be out with their first episode soon. I have a conflict of interest here because one of my bands appears in it but I really do think it’s going to be a great asset to the local scene to have high quality videos made of a bunch of musicians. Keep an eye on their social media for that.
Robert Sarazin Blake has one of his biggest guests yet for his online show, with Jolie Holland joining him this Sunday!
Mt. Saturn have announced a March 18th release date for their new album, with an album release show at the Shakedown.
Neal Marks has a new single out, a slow ballad called “Do You Remember Me” that contrasts nicely with the more rocking stuff he’s been putting out so far.
Breakout Magazine has a neat review of the new single by The Hobby. I was not familiar with them before this and now I’m a fan and looking forward to seeing what they do next.
