Cat Positive (aka Tyson Ballew) is going to be doing a residency at Honey Moon this week, playing one of his albums in full each Friday, along with special guests.
Richard Thompson at the Mount Baker Theatre is coming right up, on the 12th. Fans of English folk rock and amazing guitar work should probably get their tickets.
Bandcamp Friday coming up this week! Send some money directly to your favorite local bands! Check out my two previous local Bandcamp roundups here and here if you are looking for some to support
Apparently Anacortes has a high school “Battle of the Bands”. Alex from Cumulus was one of the judges and shared this video. Does anyone know if we have anything like this in Bellingham? If not someone should really start one.
Thanks for reading! If you have news send it to jsbhammusic@gmail.com. If there are updates after publication I’ll post things to Twitter so be sure to follow there.
Video of the week is not by a local artist but was filmed around here. Watch for Big Rock Garden Park.
