Picks of the Week:
I had never heard of Dani Bell before but based on checking out some videos they seem great. Kind of alternate universe R&B with a little garage rock edge. Thursday night obviously I hope you’ll join us for the show at the Wild Buffalo. The big name on Friday is legendary singer-songwriter Patterson Hood of Drive-By Truckers fame, playing a solo show. He lives in Portland now so if we play our cards right maybe we can make Bellingham a regular stop for him. There’s also the Mortadells for funky R&B/ soul. Sunday night you’ve got the post-Soviet rock and roll kitsch of the Red Elvises or the world travelling folk of SeaMuse. Finally in a bit of blatant self promotion I will mention it would be great to see you at Greene’s Corner on Friday, where I’ll be playing with the Moving Hats. Anyone have great plans for the weekend? Let us know in the comments.

Still tracking what’s coming up for New Years Eve.
