Picks of the Week:
As you might expect, it’s not a particularly busy week. There’s still some cool stuff, though. If you want to get out of the house on Friday, there’s good jazz at Aslan or this benefit at the Shakedown. Saturday is a double header at the Buffalo with The Walrus on early and SpaceBand on late. Also, I don’t normally post karaoke listings, but karaoke is happening on the Wild Buffalo stage the night before Thanksgiving, so that might be kind of special.
Ongoing weekly events:
Wednesday Aaron Guest on piano, Boundary, 6 pm
Wednesday Open Mic, Honeymoon, 8:30 pm
(Honey Moon is cancelled this week, and I suspect the Thursday events probably are as well, check before you go)
Thursday Open Mic, KPop Chicken, 5-9 pm
Thursday Irish Session, Uisce, 7-9:30
Friday Open Mic, Snowy River, 8 pm
Saturday Singer’s Saturday, Fireside, 3:30-6:30
Saturday Otto’s Hour, local music on KZAX 94.9, 6-7 pm
Monday Irish Session, Greene’s Corner, 6-8 pm

I’m going to be doing another Bandcamp roundup next week in advance of Bandcamp Friday. If you have any new music out in the last few months, email me at bellinghammusicdigest@gmail.com so I can make sure to include it.
Also starting to look ahead to a special end-of-the-year wrap up edition, and I want to hear from you. What were some of the best shows, recordings, new acts, etc., in 2021? Leave a comment below.
